For the bands that played at Zaphods on Tuesday May 16th, thank you very much for playing! Also thanks to the people that made it happened and anyone else that put work into this show. ok heres the situation. I have a folder of images 1-14 that are all linked in sequencial order, so if you hit a image link in pic1 it'll take you to pic2, from pic2 to pic3 ect. Now there are 4 linking pages (A-D) to the pics 1-14.

Now what I need to do is code a static button for back on the images 1-14 that will link back to the pages A-D but only depending on where the client browser came from.

Better example.

Browser comes in off of page A to pic1 and navigates to pic 5. from pic 5 I'd need a button that would take me back to page A. Now if a browser comes in on page D and navigates to the same pic (pic5) I need the back button to take me back to page C.

Is there a way outside of session tracking in PHP to do this? Something Java I'm thinking, not too sure though.

wow, overnights really are boaring

time feels like its running out and it seems like I'm no closer to the end of finishing this demo. I got frustrated the other day when I was mixing un mixable vox and decided to write a new track. I know I should be doing this and its not going to go on the demo, but it was something that had to be done. I needed to get out some things that I just don't have words for. And if I might add : I think it sounds nothing short of fantastic. I'm really happy with it and it was something that I needed to do I think. It is nothing like any of our other stuff.

Anyway, updated list.
K - re recording vox for one of them. Good thing the music is leveled and not clipped so it shouldn't take long to mix them in when he's got it done, which he says will be tuesday or wednesday.
Me - Finish my mooninites track, need help of one sexy DJ for it though.

K talkin all this crazy stuff of wanting to play live early Jan, which in my opinion will not happen. I am not putting any time into getting anything ready for live shows until I know whats going on with my knee, and the demo is done and sent out.

Since when is it bad customer service if you are 2 years out of warrenty and you'd have to pay for support, or try some free troubleshooting guides?

Friday night my computer exploded. Thankfully it wasn't my music computer, it was my other computer that was mainly used for games. In anycase It's done. Twiin and I spend the better part of Saturday working on it and this is what we've come up with.
PSU - dead, and was the casue of all the other issues somehow
Motherboard - Dead, BIOS randomly resets its self, but only clearing some settings, and they are different almost every time. Also randomly won't boot and shutdown.
RAM - came up with errors, but further scans come up with nothing.... might be good
HDDs - BAD, one tested ok, the other failed a test. When writing zeros to them, they crashed out, so assuming they are done aswell.
VIDEO card 1 - so far so good. Just a PCI card, testing in a media center PC streaming videos to the TV.
Sound Card - So far so good - also in the media ceneter PC, again testing now.
Vidoe card 2 - getting it tested in a AGP slot this week.
Burner - will test later, but since they are onyl 65 for a DL 16x DVDRW, I'm not really worried.

I've priced out some new gear upgrading to the new standards, and it looks like it'll be something close to 1300. I have no idea when this will happen, so until then, I'll be online mainly at work and here and there at home. I do have a K62 350 overclocked to a 400 at home ready for a windows install, which I'll probably setup tonight after work and just use it for e-mail, chat and forums. I'd rather not use the music computer more then I have to.

Hope to be back online one way or another soon.
Hope to have a new computer soon aswell, but probably will take a month or 2.

K has finally finished recording the vocals for the remaining tracks for the Demo EP thing we are doing to try and promote us. Looks like I'll have a lot of work for the next few days to add the finishing touches on this release. All tracks have been named and the final touches are being put to the cover art. K has made a post on our forum which can be found .:Here:.

We will be only releasing a few tracks downloadable to the public from the site, and a couple more available in the members section in the forum. To get these other tracks, you will have to register a account to gain access to the tracks. It's a way that I can get people to sign up on the forum, so when we do a release of some sort I'll be able to send out a mass e-mail letting everyone know, also for upcomming shows and such.

When everything is done and we are going to go on a big promotion spree and have more available I'll make another post about it.

just finishing up some stuff at work. Did up a repack of one of the older songs and it's sounding good so far. Have a special song in the works, kind of a make sure to have fun type dealy. Also some super secret project I'm doing. Not sure how long its going to take or if I can get it good enough sounding to release it, but it will be awesome if I can get it done.

yay for doctors not perscribing what i need to be able to function like a sorta normal person. In this case would I be better off paining for healthcare....I'm sure it'd be easier to pay a doctor to perscribe meds then to ask for them. more details on the situation in the forum at www.foilconduit.com (I use the personal updates to rant) just overly pissed at the moment and everyone will feel my wrath.....and bad spelling/grammer
